Proud Theater was started 20 years ago, in 1999. After several years under the fiscal sponsorship of other organizations, we founded Art & Soul Innovations to house Proud Theater in 2011. Proud Theater is what launched us and is what continues to inspire us and many others in communities throughout Wisconsin.
To celebrate this 20th anniversary, we’re dreaming big: we want to raise $20,000 this year to help Proud Theater and Art and Soul Innovations grow and jumpstart us into the next chapter in our history. We have relied on dozens of volunteers throughout the years to do a lot with a little. We are looking to our future and know that keeping up our momentum to do work in cities across Wisconsin will require more resources than what we have now. Every bit that you can donate this year will help us with our programming for next year, and can help us make investments in areas that we need for our future.
